Highly detailed Gladiator helmet in cold cast is $650 and in metal is $1450.

Although I do not cast this helmet any more in bronze due to its weight and cost, I employ two other methods now. One is called electrotyping. It reproduces all the high relief work on the helmet as if it had been hammered out and sculpted out of sheet metal. This cost is $1450. [US]. Another more cost effective way is to use cold cast bronzing. Atomized bronze powder is added to a casting medium I use called Pro Cast 70 D. This has the look of a bronze helmet without the weight and cost. All of this sites Gladiator helmets are done this way. This method is $650. [US].
